Soft Morning at Fossil Lake

I live on the shores of Fossil Lake, a small area of water that attracts lots of migratory birds, including Canadian geese, pelicans and cranes. I’ve always admired how they fly over the lake with the single-minded purpose of just being. Each day they go out and soar. This painting reminds us that every morning is a new promise, for we are meant to overcome and thrive. It features native stone and iron, symbols of personal strength. Sold to a collector in Kansas City.
