When October comes, waning light casts shadows upon the remaining stalks of milo standing in the field. Murmurations of blackbirds darken the sky and the land tells us to take what we need one last time before it rests. This work symbolizes autumnal mystery with a canvas of vintage grain sack cloth, wheat, stone texture, paint, prairie plant ash and rust.
