Please join us for a candlelight artist talk where I’ll share how the moon cycle influences my artwork. December 12 is the night of the Full Yule Moon. It will be a special evening at the Kansas Earth & Sky Candle Company in Ellinwood, Kansas.

June 21 – August 16, 2019 – Deines Cultural Center, Russell, KS

Opening Friday, June 21 from 5 to 7 PM is the Deines Cultural Center’s summer art exhibition, Layers, which features six artists from or currently living in Russell. The show includes acrylic, oil and mixed media paintings by Bill Farmer, David Friday, Angela Muller and Shannon Trevethan, bronze sculpture by Matt Lyczak and multimedia sculpture by Dustin Poche’. Layers will be on display in the Deines galleries from June 21 through August 16.

Please join me at the gorgeous Strecker Nelson West gallery for an amazing group landscape show Golden Valleys, Endless Skyways until August 17, 2019. I have three pieces that interpret the American prairie with earthen materials.

I’m very excited to now show works in the beautiful new showroom of the Kansas Earth and Sky Candle Company in downtown Ellinwood, Kansas. Please stop by to see the gallery and their hand-poured candles.

July 20, 2018 – Ad Astra Music Festival, The Elements, 7:30 pm, Deines Center, Russell, KS 

If you are in Central Kansas Friday, July 20, please come to the Ad Astra Music Festival performance of The Elements, 7:30 pm at the Deines Center in Russell.

The festival’s young artists will sing music from Franz Schubert, featuring pianist Matthew Piatt. The evening replicates an 1820’s Viennese salon that Shubert hosted to share art, philosophy, music, poetry and prose.

I’m honored to talk about how natural elements influence my prairie art, including this new piece inspired by the North Wind. It will be a lovely evening of superb music and the exchange of ideas.
